Greetings,
We are now entering the home stretch and in one week, we will be meeting our precious little baby girl face-to-face!
Last week’s 37-week ultrasound looked great and the non-stress test with the OB looked fantastic as well. Everything is a go for the induction date on December 29th at 7:30 am. God is so good.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 23rd at 10:30 am is our very last perinatologist visit and final ultrasound before our baby arrives. In addition, we will be seeing the OB on Friday, December 26th at 10:00 am, so that the OB on call can monitor our baby’s heart with a non-stress test.
This week, our sweet baby girl attended her older sister’s cheer banquet. Annie won the Armor Award for demonstrating Godly character and care for her teammates throughout the cheer season. Her little sister sure has a wonderful role model to look up to.
During this time, we are filled with emotions. We go from excitement and hope for complete healing for our baby, to fear of her possibly being born with Trisomy 13 and possible loss of life, and even worse, never meeting her this side of heaven. This is probably the hardest week of the entire pregnancy. Deep down we know that God is with us, that He will not leave us and we must trust Him, no matter what His will may be. His plans are for good and not for evil.
We ask everyone to please pray that we would “trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding” during this time. Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also ask that everyone pray for complete healing of our baby girl, wisdom for the doctors and medical staff involved, and that God will bring her into this world in His perfect timing.
Thank you all for your prayers and please let us know how we can pray for you. Your comments, messages, texts, phone calls and emails have been such a source of encouragement for us.
Finally, we’d like to wish each of you and your families a very Merry Christmas!

Congratulations to big sister Annie’s Armor Award for demonstrating Godly character and care for her teammates throughout the cheer season. Wow!
